Interleaved Switched-Capacitor Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with Wide Voltage-Gain Range for Energy Storage Systems - 2017 PROJECT TITLE :Interleaved Switched-Capacitor Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with Wide Voltage-Gain Range for Energy Storage Systems - 2017ABSTRACT:In this paper, an interleaved switched-capacitor bidirectional dc-dc converter with a high step-up/step-down voltage gain is proposed. The interleaved structure is adopted in the low-voltage facet of this converter to scale back the ripple of the present through the low-voltage side, and also the series-connected structure is adopted within the high-voltage aspect to realize the high step-up/step-down voltage gain. In addition, the bidirectional synchronous rectification operations are disbursed without requiring any extra hardware, and the efficiency of the converter is improved. Furthermore, the operating principles, voltage and current stresses, and current ripple characteristics of the converter are analyzed. Finally, a one kW prototype has been developed that verifies a large voltage-gain range of this converter between the variable low-voltage facet (fifty-one hundred twenty V) and the constant high-voltage side (400 V). The maximum potency of the converter is ninety five.twenty onep.c within the step-up mode and ninety five.30% within the step-down mode. The experimental results additionally validate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed topology. Did you like this research project?
