Impact of Antenna Correlation on Full-Duplex Two-Way Massive MIMO Relaying Systems - 2018

ABSTRACT:

This Project investigates the impact of antenna correlation on full duplex massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) 2-means relaying systems. To be general, all nodes within the system are equipped with multiple antennas and arbitrary antenna correlation is taken into account. Deterministic equivalent of the achievable sum-rate is 1st given, which enables the derivation of the asymptotic sum-rate when the quantity of relay antennas is large. The impact of antenna correlation on the asymptotic add-rate is then thoroughly analyzed. Moreover, the antenna correlation at the users is a lot of vital to the asymptotic sum-rate than that at the relay. The analysis is general and will be easily reduced to think about 0.5-duplex and/or one-way huge MIMO relaying systems. Numerical results are finally provided to validate the analysis. It is additionally shown that a larger number of user antennas might not continually lead to the next add-rate, and thus correct selection of the number of user antennas is necessary to maximise the total-rate.
