PROJECT TITLE :

Optimal Energy Management Policy of Mobile Energy Gateway - 2016

ABSTRACT:

With the advancement of wireless energy harvesting and transfer technologies, e.g., radio frequency (RF) energy, mobile nodes are totally untethered as energy offer is a lot of ubiquitous. The mobile nodes will receive energy from wireless chargers, that will be static or mobile. During this paper, we introduce the employment of a mobile energy gateway which will receive energy from a fastened charging facility, furthermore move and transfer energy to different users. The mobile energy gateway aims to maximise the utility by optimally taking energy charging/transferring actions. We formulate the optimal energy charging/transferring drawback as a Markov call method (MDP). The MDP model is then solved to get the optimal energy management policy for the mobile energy gateway. Furthermore, the optimal energy management policy obtained from the MDP model is proven to possess a threshold structure. We tend to conduct an in depth performance analysis of the MDP-primarily based energy management scheme. The proposed MDP-primarily based theme outperforms many standard baseline schemes in terms of expected overall utility.
