PROJECT TITLE :
Physical Attestation in the Smart Grid for Distributed State Verification - 2018
ABSTRACT:
A malicious process in a very distributed system can fabricate its internal state in its Communications with its peers. These state fabrications will cause different processes within the distributed system to create incorrect management choices. Smart grid systems have a distinctive advantage in the detection of falsified state attacks because method management choices have an observable effect on a shared physical infrastructure. The physical infrastructure acts as a high-integrity message channel that broadcasts changes in individual method states. This work proposes a replacement distributed security mechanism known as physical attestation that mixes physical feedback with strategies from pc security to detect state fabrications in the sensible grid. The speculation of physical attestation is proven using an information flow security property referred to as nondeducibility, and supported with experimental results from a simulation take a look at bed.
