Individual pitch controller based on fuzzy logic control for wind turbine load mitigation PROJECT TITLE :Individual pitch controller based on fuzzy logic control for wind turbine load mitigationABSTRACT:With the increasing size of contemporary giant wind turbine (WT), the results of dynamic loading on the structures become an important influence issue. There are mitigation measures for WT Control Systems to scale back these imbalance structural masses and regulate power. It's motivated the development of blade individual pitch management (IPC) methodologies. This study focuses on the design of fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for IPC. The controllers are designed so as to optimise a trade-off among many control objectives such as blade root moment and generator torque. Three totally different FLC had been employed in the controllers, the primary one connected to blade pitch angle and electromagnetic torque management variables to fulfill specified objectives for operation region, the second management model and the third model related to d-q axis blade moment in non-rotating frame of reference. Likewise, the optimisation criteria of FLC think about for each controller objective to mitigate fatigue masses and regulate output power. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed methodology is verified by simulation results for 3-bladed NREL a pair of MW WT. The results proved that the fatigue masses within the turbine are reduced obviously. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
