Measuring Knowledge Acquisition in 3D Virtual Learning Environments PROJECT TITLE :Measuring Knowledge Acquisition in 3D Virtual Learning EnvironmentsABSTRACT:Virtual environments will contribute to the effective learning of numerous subjects for folks of all ages. Consequently, they assist in reducing the cost of maintaining physical structures of teaching, like laboratories and classrooms. However, the measurement of how learners acquire information in such environments continues to be incipient within the literature. This article presents a methodology to guage the knowledge acquisition in 3D virtual learning environments (3D VLEs) by using the learner's interactions within the VLE. 3 experiments were conducted that demonstrate the viability of using this methodology and its computational implementation. The results suggest that it's potential to automatically assess learning in predetermined contexts and that some sorts of user interactions in 3D VLEs are correlated with the user's learning differential.
