Lessons Learned in the Use of WIRIS Quizzes to Upgrade Moodle to Solve Electrical Circuits PROJECT TITLE : Lessons Learned in the Use of WIRIS Quizzes to Upgrade Moodle to Solve Electrical Circuits ABSTRACT : WIRIS quizzes are an on-line mathematics tool for academic functions that upgrade Moodle quizzes and allow the development of customized quizzes using random data and conditional instructions. WIRIS quizzes can be employed in any arithmetic or science degree; their complex operators allow it for use to unravel electrical circuits. This tool promotes autonomous student learning and enables teachers to observe that learning and build adjustments if necessary. Therefore, this tool improves teaching quality. It can conjointly be used as an assessment tool by each the teacher and the student. This paper shows how WIRIS quizzes are integrated into the virtual campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain, to show electrical circuits. Lessons learned in performing and using WIRIS quizzes with second-year students at the UPC are shown. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
