Nonlinear Control [Bookshelf]

ABSTRACT:

This book isn't a revised edition of the author's previous book ["Nonlinear Systems, third ed., 2001) but rather a new book organized and targeted on the material most pertinent to developing an understanding of nonlinear control. The first half of the book provides a solid foundation for understanding and analyzing nonlinear systems, however several of the additional abstract ideas, such as the comparison lemma, receive abundant less attention. The second half of the book presents nonlinear control in an entirely new format that's higher organized and additional logical, building upon ideas successively, such that students will better perceive and master nonlinear management. In truth, several aspects of nonlinear control are better generalized, such as backstepping, while others are given deeper thought, such as observers, tracking management, and output feedback management.
