Combined Channel Access and Sensing in Cognitive Radio Slotted-ALOHA Networks PROJECT TITLE :Combined Channel Access and Sensing in Cognitive Radio Slotted-ALOHA NetworksABSTRACT:The cognitive radio slotted-ALOHA (CR S-ALOHA) network may be a CR system that consists of two or a lot of secondary users (SUs) utilizing S-ALOHA as the channel access technique. In the CR S-ALOHA network, a sequence of transmission failures will implicate the possibility of primary user (PU) look yet because the consecutive collisions between SUs. By exploiting this property, we tend to style a combined channel access and sensing scheme for CR S-ALOHA networks, with that both packet transmission and channel sensing will be controlled along. We analyze the performance of the proposed scheme by formulating a five-D Markov chain. The numerical results show that the CR S-ALOHA network with the proposed theme achieves smart performance in throughput and delay whereas protecting the PU properly.
