PROJECT TITLE :

Galvanic Intrabody Communication for Affective Acquiring and Computing

ABSTRACT:

The human machine interface (HMI) could be a main communication methodology between human and laptop. Through current HMI, a machine receives and accurately responds to the commands instructed by the users. In the next generation of HMI, machines will be required to deal with additional challenging problems/decisions (like affective evaluations, ethical quandaries, and different innovations) in an exceedingly self-governing manner. Therefore, future HMI ought to be in a position to provide info regarding users' emotion to the machine for affective analysis. During this paper, we tend to specialize in the natural affiliation technique that can improve machines in creating the acquaintance of the users. But, connecting sensors scattered on the human body poses serious issues regarding comfort and convenience. So, the authors introduce the Intra Body Communication (IBC) for connecting varied physiological sensors on the human body such that the physiological information will enrich the capability of the pc in cognition of the user's emotion. Still, the authors conjointly reported 2 pilot studies: using the IBC for connecting the physiological sensor on the human body and using the physiological parameters to estimate the degree of fatigue of the user.
