PROJECT TITLE:

Importance of the use of the parametric logarithm in a no-supervised strategy for the image binarization

ABSTRACT:

Binarization is usually recognized to be one amongst the most necessary steps in most high-level image analysis systems, notably for object recognition. However, from passed decades the most common means of arriving to a binarization of image was through a threshold, several times during a supervised manner. In this work, a replacement algorithm is introduced for the no-supervised binarization, where the step of the parametric logarithm is of very important importance.
