PROJECT TITLE :

Use of ultra-narrow band miniature antennas for internet-of-things applications

ABSTRACT:

The feasibility of using ultra-slender band (UNB) antennas for internet-of-things applications is mentioned. An analysis aimed at evaluating the antenna miniaturisation limits when there are virtually no bandwidth needs is performed. Both numerical and experimental results show that, carefully taking under consideration the metal conductivity, it's attainable to get miniature antennas with smart impedance matching, UNB, and acceptable efficiency. As a representative example, a wearable on-body antenna outperforming by ten dB in terms of total potency a industrial resolution is presented.
