Influence of reducing reagent combination in graphene oxide reduction PROJECT TITLE :Influence of reducing reagent combination in graphene oxide reductionABSTRACT:Large-scale production of high-quality graphene nanosheets has been thought of to be an attention-grabbing and important challenge. A replacement approach is reported relating to the fabrication of high-quality graphene nanosheets via chemical reduction with the mix of reducing reagents from graphene oxide (GO). High-conducting reduced GO (RGO) was supplied with the mix of hydrazine hydrate and hydroiodic acid. RGO was characterised by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman, thermo gravimetric analysis, atomic force microscopy and 4-probe conductivity tester. Characterisation results indicated that oxygenated useful teams were far from GO, and high graphitisation has occurred in GO reduction method. The electrical conductivity of RGO was significantly improved and also the C/O ratio of RGO was above that prepared by single reducing reagent. Combination of hydrate hydrazine and hydroiodic acid have showed high reduction efficiency and sensible synergistic result in GO reduction method. The findings during this work can promote analysis on ready graphene-based nanosheets composites by a fast and effective processing technique. Did you like this research project?
