Inference for the Wiener Process With Random Initiation Time


When considering a degradation model, it is mainly assumed that the degradation begins as soon as the device is place into service. However, in follow, generally the degradation occurs solely when a bound delay referred to as the initiation time (or latency amount). During this paper, we have a tendency to consider the Wiener method, as a degradation model, beginning at a random time. Such a method will also be called a randomly delayed Wiener method. Sample paths are assumed to be observed at the identical regular instants. The statistical inference under this sampling theme is studied here, providing some asymptotic results.
