Uncertainty of Voltage Profile in PMU-Based Distribution System State Estimation PROJECT TITLE :Uncertainty of Voltage Profile in PMU-Based Distribution System State EstimationABSTRACT:Distribution system state estimation (DSSE) tools are required to estimate the real operating conditions of power distribution networks. The accuracy of the quantities estimated through DSSE plays a key role within the effectiveness of the management and control functions. This paper presents a comprehensive mathematical analysis geared toward highlighting the most vital factors affecting the accuracy of the voltage profile obtained by suggests that of weighted least squares estimators. The proposed analysis shows the manner in that the uncertainty parts of the voltage estimations rely on the measurement system available on the sphere. In explicit, this paper considers synchrophasor measurements provided by phasor measurement units and hybrid measurement systems additionally presenting standard devices. Tests performed on a ninety five-bus network prove the validity of the theoretical analysis and show the importance of the results conjointly from a meter placement perspective, emphasizing the requirements required to realize specific accuracy targets.
