PROJECT TITLE :

Using Stereo Vision to Construct 3-D Surface Models

ABSTRACT:

Surface model reconstruction from stereo vision is appealing to the rehabilitation industry, including the rehabilitation treatment equipment manufacturers. This article presents a systematic approach for constructing editable three-dimensional (3-D) surface models from stereo cameras and employ this approach to develop a commercializable system for automatically building custom-contoured seats.
