ABSTRACT:

Can we live how close two individuals in a very social network are just by knowing who is friends with whom? Can we infer the closeness of two folks's research areas just by observing coauthor relations? Will we tend to predict the importance of latest roads simply by looking at a current traffic network? During this case study, the authors investigate an approach to these questions and the algorithms behind the computations.
