PROJECT TITLE :

Wire-Medium Hyperlens for Enhancing Radiation From Subwavelength Dipole Sources

ABSTRACT:

Hyperlens is a metamaterial structure initially proposed for magnifying imaging of subwavelength scattering objects. Here, we have a tendency to show that a wire-medium (WM) hyperlens will be used conjointly for vital enhancement of radiation from little sources to free house which this enhancement holds within the ultra-wide frequency band. We tend to investigate how the divergence of metal wires modifies the radiated power of a dipole, comparing with an array of parallel wires, and investigate the impact of different design parameters. Next, we have a tendency to implement the optimized hyperlens in the microwave vary and verify the theoretical results experimentally. We have a tendency to believe that this work will facilitate to introduce and develop hyperlenses for a variety of applications where broadband radiation enhancement of subwavelength sources is needed.
