A Dual-Pass High Current Density Resonant Tunneling Diode for Terahertz Wave Applications PROJECT TITLE :A Dual-Pass High Current Density Resonant Tunneling Diode for Terahertz Wave ApplicationsABSTRACT:We tend to report on a twin-pass high current density resonant tunneling diode (RTD) for terahertz wave applications. This technique reduces the general fabrication complexity and improves the reproducibility for making low resistance ohmic contacts. With our dual-pass technique, we have a tendency to demonstrate accurate control over the final device space by measuring the RTD current–voltage characteristic throughout the fabrication method and guiding the emitter current through the full RTD structure with a second contact electrode on the collector facet. We last to show how we tend to could extract vital info concerning the RTD performance using this methodology. Did you like this research project?
