A Path-following Algorithm for Robust Point Matching PROJECT TITLE :A Path-following Algorithm for Robust Point MatchingABSTRACT:We tend to propose a brand new purpose matching algorithm during this letter by minimizing a concave geometric matching value operate returning from the objective function of the strong purpose matching algorithm. Due to concavity of this operate, naive optimization methods like gradient descent can fail. To handle this drawback, we tend to use a path following strategy for optimization which works by adding a convex quadratic term to the objective function and then gradually transitioning from the state that there is solely weight of the convex term to the state that there's only weight of the concave geometric matching price term.
