A Novel AC/DC Bridgeless and Contactless Electrical Energy Transmission System for Multi-Load Applications

ABSTRACT:

In this paper, we propose a novel ac/dc bridgeless and contactless energy transmission system. The coreless planar transformer and magnetic dipole moment are applied to transmit electrical energy in an exceedingly noncontact methodology. Furthermore, the input ac current of the proposed converter has effective power issue correction. Simultaneously, the primary-facet switches have zero-voltage switching, and therefore the secondary-side diodes have zero-current switching. Therefore, the power quality and efficiency of the proposed system will be upgraded. Furthermore, the proposed system can increase the transmission distance with the voltage multiplier receiver connected in the rear of the secondary-facet coreless planar transformer. Power transmission and circuit operation are described in this paper. Finally, a prototype system is made, and its validity has been confirmed with experimental and sensible measurements.
