Pre-Encoded Multipliers Based on Non-Redundant Radix-4 Signed-Digit Encoding - 2016 PROJECT TITLE: Pre-Encoded Multipliers Based on Non-Redundant Radix-4 Signed-Digit Encoding - 2016 ABSTRACT: In this project, we are implementing a pre-encoded multiplier architecture based on off-line coefficient encoding for Digital Signal Processing applications. To this point, it is suggested to use the Non-Redundant radix-4 Signed-Digit (NR4SD) encoding technique which uses the digit values -1,0,+1,+2 or -2,-1,0,+1 -, resulting in a multiplier design with less complex implementation of partial products. Experimental research in detail verifies that the proposed pre-encoded NR4SD multipliers, including memory coefficients, are more effective in space and power than the standard Updated Booth theme.
