ABSTRACT:
Brushless DC motors (BLDCM) are most widespread as a result of of their higher efficiency, less maintenance and precise control characteristics. However, this motor has nonlinear nature and can be affected simply by the parameter modification and disruption. For any automobile and industrial applications, it's essential to control the speed accurately. As a result of of their fixed gain values, high peak overshoot and high settling time the traditional PI controllers are inadequate to regulate this motor accurately. During this paper, to resolve the complications plus the everyday PI, Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is intended to eradicate the overshoot and to produce fast speed response of motor. The mathematical modeling of BLDCM together with the controller has been deduced for a ten kW BLDC motor. The simulations are wiped out Matlab/Simulink setting for validating characteristics of FLC.
