Analytical and experimental research on a light passenger vehicle's active suspension system PROJECT TITLE : Analytical and experimental studies on active suspension system of light passenger vehicle ABSTRACT: PID (Proportional Integral - Derivative) controllers are used in this research to build an active suspension system for a light passenger car that can increase ride comfort for passengers. The system's performance is evaluated and compared to that of a passive suspension system on a bumpy route. Also shown is how to adjust the controller's parameters. Analytical results are tested in the laboratory. When compared to a passive suspension system, an active suspension system improves ride comfort by 78.03 percent, reduces suspension travel by 71.05 percent, and increases road-holding ability by 60 percent. Therefore, the PID controller-based active suspension system is preferable to the passive suspension system. Did you like this research project?
