PROJECT TITLE :

Grid connected three-phase multiple-polemultilevel unity power factor rectifier withreduce components count - 2016

ABSTRACT:

This study presents a simple style and price-effective rectifier topology based on 5-level multiple-pole structure. Higher efficiency and low grid current total harmonic distortion is achieved with the constant low switching frequency operation. The proposed rectifier topology consists 2 set of VIENNA rectifiers to make a five-level input characteristic which is called 5-level/multiple-pole multilevel unity power rectifier (5L-M2UPFR). Observer techniques are designed for the proposed in-phase quantities carrier-based mostly average current management scheme for the rectifier. Hence, unity power and input current shaping is achieved with the reduced sensor measurements. Plus that, a proportional+resonance controller is implemented in the grid voltage observer to realize dynamic response and better tracking below unbalanced grid condition.
