Single Phase Cascaded H5 Inverter with Leakage CurrentElimination for Transformerless Photovoltaic System - 2016 PROJECT TITLE :Single Phase Cascaded H5 Inverter with Leakage CurrentElimination for Transformerless Photovoltaic System - 2016ABSTRACT:Leakage current reduction is one in every of the important problems for the transformelress PV systems. During this paper, the transformerless single-part cascaded H-bridge PV inverter is investigated. The common mode model for the cascaded H4 inverter is analyzed. And the reason why the standard cascade H4 inverter fails to cut back the leakage current is clarified. In order to unravel the matter, a brand new cascaded H5 inverter is proposed to resolve the leakage current issue. Finally, the experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed topology with the leakage current reduction for the single-phase transformerless PV systems.
