Privacy-Preserving Image Processing in the Cloud - 2018

ABSTRACT:

Countless personal pictures are generated in varied digital devices every day. The consequent large computational workload makes individuals flip to Cloud Computing platforms for their economical computation resources. Meanwhile, the privacy considerations over the sensitive data contained in outsourced image knowledge arise in public. In truth, once uploaded to cloud, the safety and privacy of the image content will solely presume upon the reliability of the cloud service suppliers. Lack of assuring security and privacy guarantees becomes the most barrier to any deployment of cloud-based mostly Image Processing systems. This Project studies the planning targets and technical challenges lie in constructing cloud-based privacy-preserving Image Processing system. We have a tendency to explore varied Image Processing tasks, together with image feature detection, digital watermarking, content-based image search. The state-of-the-art techniques, as well as secure multiparty computation, and homomorphic encryption are investigated.
