Heterogeneous Data Storage Management with Deduplication in Cloud Computing - 2017 PROJECT TITLE : Heterogeneous Data Storage Management with Deduplication in Cloud Computing - 2017 ABSTRACT: Cloud storage in concert of the most necessary services of Cloud Computing helps cloud users break the bottleneck of restricted resources and expand their storage while not upgrading their devices. In order to ensure the safety and privacy of cloud users, knowledge are continuously outsourced in an encrypted form. But, encrypted data may incur much waste of cloud storage and complicate data sharing among licensed users. We are still facing challenges on encrypted knowledge storage and management with deduplication. Ancient deduplication schemes continually target specific application situations, in that the deduplication is completely controlled by either knowledge homeowners or cloud servers. They cannot flexibly satisfy various demands of data house owners in step with the amount of information sensitivity. In this paper, we have a tendency to propose a heterogeneous information storage management scheme, that flexibly offers both deduplication management and access control at the same time across multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). We tend to evaluate its performance with security analysis, comparison and implementation. The results show its security, effectiveness and potency towards potential practical usage.
