Study On Ofdm Frequency Offset Estimation Based On Emd Algorithm - 2017

ABSTRACT:

A new methodology of applying EMD (empirical mode decomposition) algorithm to appreciate the CFO (carrier frequency offset) estimation of single channel OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system is proposed during this paper. Firstly, the observation signal is extracted by using correlation detection technology to process the received OFDM signal. Then the data with CFO data is obtained by only applying EMD algorithm to separate the observation of the one channel signal. Finally we tend to will estimate the frequency offset of the system. Compared with the ancient technique of CFO estimation, this methodology does not require the use of supplementary data or additional bandwidth, however can greatly scale back the implementation difficulty of the system.
