A Reliable and Efficient Method for Temperature Sensing in Interferometric Fiber-Optic Gyro

ABSTRACT:

This paper shows a brand new method for measuring temperature in interferometric fiber-optic gyroscopes based mostly on the temperature dependence of the integrated optical circuit. No part irrelevant to rotation sensing is concerned. Calibration and temperature tests were conducted. The demonstrated repeatability and backbone are better than zero.five °C.
