ABSTRACT:
During this study, the impact of loading microstrip antenna using epsilon close to zero (ENZ) metamaterial is investigated. It's known that ENZ material could facilitate to boost the transmission through a boundary condition and that the scattering parameters may be utterly freelance of such boundary properties. This plan is demonstrated to significantly increase the bandwidth of a easy rectangular microstrip patch antenna. To realise the ENZ material, a periodic wire medium is designed, simulated, fabricated, and tested. Simulation results primarily based on CST Microwave studio have smart agreement with measurements.
