Visual Computing and the Progress of Developing Countries PROJECT TITLE :Visual Computing and the Progress of Developing CountriesABSTRACT:In many cases, countries' successes can be attributed to technological advancements, and these advancements typically in flip depend on informatics that encompass data, info, data, information systems, and info and Communication technologies. This special issue focuses on submissions describing innovative visual computing applications in areas related to the progress of developing countries. From a complete of eighteen submissions from Brazil, South Africa, and Mexico, the guest editors selected four representative articles that investigate Image Processing, computer vision, virtual reality, 3D user interaction, and games, all of that are connected to totally different domains, like industrial technology, HSE (health, safety and surroundings), data acquisition, and public policy.
