Renewed Modes of Transportation [Transportation Systems]
ABSTRACT:
On half-dozen August 2014, Alstom and Huawei announced a protracted-term evolution (LTE) fourth-generation (4G) pilot for the metro market to demonstrate the performance of a multiservice broadband radio network. Alstom has been working on LTE since the technology has been obtainable from the telecom business. This pilot will be using Huawei's LTE technology following the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the 2 corporations in April 2014.
