Curved Surface Plasmon Polariton Excitation With Shaped Beam by Fifth-Power Phase Mask

ABSTRACT:

We experimentally demonstrate a unique and easy technique for the excitation of a curved surface plasmon polariton on a silver nanofilm. We have a tendency to generated an Airy-like formed beam within the Fourier plane by using a fifth-power phase mask imposed on a spatial light-weight modulator to excite surface plasmon polariton on the silver nanofilm consisting of silver nanoparticles. The intensity distribution of the surface plasmon polariton trajectories was recorded by the leakage radiation microscope, that indicates that a plasmonic polynomial beam is created on the silver nanofilm. This method provides relatively business and dynamic manipulation of a curved surface plasmon polariton on a noble metallic nanofilm.
