ABSTRACT:

As data analytics and computation interact a lot of fields and applications, engineers find themselves operating to communicate the capabilities and benefits of advanced algorithms and processing techniques to audiences that do not speak the engineer?s language of arithmetic and computation. From biology to sociology to scholarship within the humanities, potential transformations and innovations rest on the power of engineers and scientists to form the case for computational techniques and fruitfully interact with new sorts of establishments and practices. As an anthropologist of science and technology, Park Doing is inquisitive about such interactions.
