Automatic Keyword Extraction for Text Summarization A Survey

ABSTRACT:

Data has been quickly rising in recent years in every sphere, including journalism, social media, banking, education, and so on. Due to the abundance of data, an automatic summarizer is required that can summarize data, particularly textual data, in the original document without sacrificing any key functions. In recent years, text summarization has been a popular study topic. In this sense, a review of previous work on the text summarizing method can help with future research. Since the text summary process is heavily reliant on keyword extraction, this paper presents recent work on automatic keyword extraction and text summarization. This literature offers a discussion of several keyword extraction and text summarization methodologies. It also goes through the various databases used for text summarization in various domains, as well as assessment matrices. Finally, it touches on some of the concerns and research obstacles that researchers confront, as well as future directions.
