Infrastructure for improved energy storage management and PV-active power control

PROJECT TITLE :

Improved Energy Storage Management and PV-Active Power Control Infrastructure

ABSTRACT:

For microgrid-based smart grids, the auxiliary services supplied by distributed generators and energy storage systems are predicted to be of tremendous value. The microgrids' control systems must incorporate these services. The pseudo-state-of-charge concept is developed in this study to improve the management of energy storage. Also proposed and implemented on a microgrid-based smart grid are remote control strategies for PV string actuators that are noninvasive to the inverter. An alternative microgrid topology and control method are used to compare the reliability of the iterative algorithm-based microgrid's operation. The outcomes of the experiments demonstrate the merits of the new approach.
