Data sharing has never been easier with the advances of Cloud Computing, and an accurate analysis on the shared data provides an array of advantages to each the society and individuals. Information sharing with a giant variety of participants should take into account many problems, including efficiency, information integrity and privacy of data owner. Ring signature could be a promising candidate to construct an anonymous and authentic data sharing system. It permits a information owner to anonymously authenticate his knowledge that will be put into the cloud for storage or analysis purpose. Yet the pricey certificate verification in the ancient public key infrastructure (PKI) setting becomes a bottleneck for this resolution to be scalable.
