Effective Diversity Gain Evaluation for Large-Scale MIMO Antenna System

PROJECT TITLE :

Effective Diversity Gain Evaluation for Large-Scale MIMO Antenna System

ABSTRACT:

The success of multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) technology has lured substantial studies on devising massive-scale MIMO antenna systems, that shall yield the next throughput in a multipath-wealthy atmosphere. However, the shortage of measurement measures applicable to diversity assessment of antennas in a very large variety could hinder the planning process. In this letter, an efficient diversity gain measurement approach is proposed. The system includes a multichannel information acquisition card and RF power detectors. It can be expanded to accommodate tens of antennas, and the info sampling process can be executed during a timely fashion. Results of several multiantenna styles are presented to validate the method effectiveness. On top of diversity assessment, performance options additionally include evaluations of antenna radiation potency and propagation setting characteristics.
