PROJECT TITLE :

Investigation of the Propagation Characteristics of Graphene-Based Rectangular Waveguides in Terahertz Band

ABSTRACT:

The propagation characteristics of double-sided, graphene-based mostly waveguides are investigated in detail during this study. Given the isotropic or anisotropic conductivities of graphene, the dispersion equations of these waveguides are complicated and can be derived through analytical expressions obtained with mode-matching techniques. Graphene will be tuned via the application of an external electrostatic or magnetostatic bias field; thus, novel reconfiguration potentialities are of interest to researchers and are thought of and analyzed comprehensively. Numerical results indicate that hybrid modes (simultaneous transverse electrical and transverse magnetic modes) are supported and will be tuned within the waveguide when graphene sheets are biased in an external magnetic field.
