Facilitating Creativity in Collaborative Work with Computational Intelligence Software

ABSTRACT:

The employment of computational intelligence for leveraging social creativity may be a comparatively new approach that permits organizations to search out inventive solutions to advanced problems in that the interaction between stakeholders is crucial. The artistic solutions that come back from joint thinking-from the combined knowledge and talents of individuals with diverse views-contrast with traditional views of creativity that focus totally on the individual as the most contributor of creativity. In a trial to support social creativity in organizations, during this paper we tend to gift computational intelligence software tools for that aim and an architecture for making software mashups based mostly on the concept of affinity area. The affinity house defines a digital setting to facilitate specific situations in collaborative business environments. The solution presented includes a set of free and open source software tools ranging from newly developed brainstorming applications to an expertise recommender for enhancing social creativity within the enterprise. The current paper addresses software design problems and presents reflections on the analysis work undertaken within the COLLAGE project between 2012 and 2015.
