PROJECT TITLE :

Dynamic Equivalent Model of Wind Power Plant Using an Aggregation Technique

ABSTRACT:

During this study, we developed a dynamic equivalent model for giant-scale wind power plants primarily based on an aggregation technique. The model is obtained in steps that include wind turbine clustering, development of slow dynamic models for the clusters, and aggregating of the models with the remainder of wind power plant network. To substantiate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the developed model is tested against the original massive-scale wind power plant connected to the Power System through computer simulations.
