ABSTRACT:

Recently, the automotive shift is widely used in the motor industry because of its reliable operation and perfect performance. Also, it can prevent the damage of automatic transmission caused by the driver's misoperation and correct the driver's bad habit of gearing shift. Usually, the automotive shift determines the driver's shift intention by the outputs of Hall components, which are based on the relative position between the magnet and Hall elements. So the analysis of permanent magnetic induction model for the design of automotive shift is of great importance. In this article, the most common magnet which is an axially magnetized cylindrical permanent magnet is taken into account. Analytical calculation formulations based on the Coulombia model are presented in this article. These formulations are easily recognized by a computer. The results of tests and experiments confirmed their validity.
