PROJECT TITLE :

RUL Prediction for Individual Units Based on Condition Monitoring Signals With a Change Point

ABSTRACT:

In this article, we have a tendency to propose a technique to predict the remaining useful life (RUL) for individual units based mostly on condition monitoring signals with a amendment point. In this work, we have a tendency to assume the units are subject to onerous failure. The existence of a sudden amendment point in the condition monitoring signal indicates a rise of the likelihood of system failure. So, this info should be thought of within the RUL prediction. In the proposed methodology, an extended type of the joint prognostic model (JPM) considering a amendment purpose (JPM-C) is proposed, and therefore the amendment point is detected in keeping with the concordance correlation coefficient (CCC). The advantageous features of the proposed technique have been shown through a numerical simulation, and a case study of the battery helpful life prediction.
