Recent Progress in Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization of Polymer Solar Cells PROJECT TITLE :Recent Progress in Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization of Polymer Solar CellsABSTRACT: The ability conversion potency of polymer solar cells these days has passed ten%, the commonly acceptable value for business usage. But, generally labs, the facility conversion potency routinely achievable is solely at 3–5% as a result of of the dearth of effective tools to optimize the device design and also the fabrication method. Rather than using trial-and-error experiments to boost the facility potency, modeling and simulation provides another, effective, and economical method to optimize the look of polymer solar cells for best device performance. This review offers a literature survey, as well as some of our own studies, on modeling and simulation of polymer solar cells. Initial, the fundamentals of polymer solar cells are briefly explained. Then, the optical and electrical modeling and simulation are discussed in detail, followed by a discussion on optimization of polymer solar cells via modeling and simulation. This review ends with an outlook for the long run study on modeling, simulation, and optimization of polymer solar cells. Did you like this research project?
