Simultaneous Measurement of Temperature and Strain Using Spheroidal-Cavity-Overlapped FBG PROJECT TITLE :Simultaneous Measurement of Temperature and Strain Using Spheroidal-Cavity-Overlapped FBGABSTRACT:We have a tendency to demonstrated a fiber-optic sensor using spheroidal-cavity-overlapped fiber Bragg grating (FBG) for simultaneous temperature and strain sensing. The spheroidal cavity is fabricated through splicing 2 sections of the photon-sensitive fiber along and located in the middle of the FBG to act as a Fabry–Pérot interferometer (FPI). Experimental results demonstrate that the temperature sensitivity of the FPI half of the sensor is 0.sixty seven pm/°C at the range of –70 °C–20 °C, and its strain sensitivity is 3.76 at the vary of 0–500 , while those of the FBG half are 8.forty pm/°C and 1.40 , respectively. The sensitivity difference ensures sensible simultaneous measurement performance. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
