Two-stage optimal demand response with battery energy storage systems PROJECT TITLE :Two-stage optimal demand response with battery energy storage systemsABSTRACT:This study proposes a two-stage co-optimisation framework for the look and energy management of a customer with battery energy storage systems (BESSs) and demand response (DR) programs. The proposed technique can assist a customer to form the foremost beneficial plans to join DR programs and install BESS in the design stage, and optimally schedule the masses, DG outputs and BESS consistent with the design decisions created in the first stage. The novel technique considers multiple DR programs, numerous client varieties and demand situations, and the combination of BESS. Case studies on a tiny commercial building and a giant industrial/industrial campus demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique and also the impacts of BESS and DGs on client behaviours. The proposed technique can give steering to a customer to create the foremost beneficial choices in an electricity market with multiple DR programs. Did you like this research project?
