Fuzzy Pitch Angle Control for Grid Connected Variable-Speed Wind Turbine System - 2016 PROJECT TITLE : Fuzzy Pitch Angle Control for Grid Connected Variable-Speed Wind Turbine System - 2016 ABSTRACT: This paper studies the management of a grid connected variable-speed wind turbine management using the permanent magnet synchronous generator. A pitch angle controller based mostly on the fuzzy logic is proposed for adjusting the wind turbine aerodynamic torque when wind speed is on top of rated speed. The fuzzy logic controller is effective to compensate the nonlinear characteristic of the pitch angle to the wind speed. The proposed technique effectiveness is verified by MATLAB simulation results.
