PROJECT TITLE :

Deadbeat Control for Single-Inductor Multiple-Input Multiple-Output DC-DC Converter

ABSTRACT:

SI-MIMO (Single Inductors, Multiple Inputs, Multiple Outputs) dc-dc converter is the focus of this study. The proposed approach is able to regulate both the input current (ICR) and the output voltage (OVR) concurrently by resolving the SI-MIMO dc-dc converter's cross regulation problem. Output current observers are used instead of output current sensors in the typical model-based approaches for dc-dc converters, which are required by conventional methods. For example, ICR and OVR are both covered in great depth. Deadbeat-based simulations and experiments on a single-inductor dual-input dual-output buck converter simulation platform and a hardware prototype are used to demonstrate that the proposed method works as intended. Results from both simulation and experiment are compared to earlier studies in detail.
