A Noise Resistant Correlation Method for Period Detection of Noisy Signals - 2018 PROJECT TITLE :A Noise Resistant Correlation Method for Period Detection of Noisy Signals - 2018ABSTRACT:This Project develops a unique method known as the noise resistant correlation method for detecting the hidden period from the contaminated (noisy) signals with robust white Gaussian noise. A unique correlation perform is proposed based mostly on a newly created periodic signal and the contaminated signal to effectively detect the target hidden amount. In distinction with the standard autocorrelation analysis (AUTOC) technique, this method demonstrates glorious performance, especially when facing sturdy noise. Fault diagnoses of rolling element bearings and gears are presented as application examples and also the performance of the proposed technique is compared with that of the AUTOC method.
